A woman sustained critical injuries following an incident where an assailant reportedly poured petrol on her and set her on fire. The suspected arson attack took place in Clondalkin, Dublin, this morning at around 10:10 am. Authorities are investigating the case, suspecting the use of a petrol bomb in the assault.
Law enforcement officials mentioned that the woman was taken to the hospital for severe burn injuries, while a man is also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The police have secured the scene for further examination, appointed a Senior Investigating Officer, and set up an incident room at Clondalkin Garda Station.
