Sky has recently unveiled adjustments to its television channel lineup, set to take effect imminently. Among the changes, Sky Showcase and Sky Max will be discontinued from airing any content starting February 24. However, to compensate for these closures, Sky is reintroducing the popular Sky One channel.

Launching tomorrow, Sky One will provide subscribers with a diverse range of comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. Additionally, viewers can expect to enjoy returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted.

Moreover, Sky One will become the exclusive home of Saturday Night Live UK, scheduled to premiere later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, emphasized the channel’s commitment to delivering exceptional content, stating, “Our goal is to make it easier than ever for Sky TV customers to find and enjoy the shows they love.”

Sky One will be available on channel 106 beginning tomorrow, February 24. Alongside this channel launch, Sky is introducing a new plan called Ultimate TV, priced at £24 monthly. Subscribers to this plan will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the forthcoming HBO Max app, along with over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime.

Furthermore, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide, enabling seamless viewing of Hollywood hits without needing the Disney+ app. The £24 Ultimate TV plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (from March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (from March 26th), Hayu (from July), and a vast selection of top shows.
