Sky customers in the UK are in for a treat with the launch of the new HBO Max service. Subscribers with the Sky Ultimate TV package can now enjoy popular titles like Game of Thrones, Friends, Dune, Succession, and Young Sheldon at no extra cost, saving over £50 annually. Sky confirmed that Sky Stream, Sky Glass, and Sky Q customers with the appropriate packages will receive HBO Max Basic with Ads as part of their subscription.
HBO Max offers a vast library of HBO dramas, including classics like Succession and The Wire, as well as new Max Originals such as The Pitt. Additionally, subscribers can access a wide range of Warner Bros. films through the service.

Once set up, they can enjoy on-demand streaming of all the available content.
For those not on the Sky Ultimate TV plan, switching to it is an option starting from £22 per month. This package includes over 130 Sky channels, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and the upcoming Hayu service.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed excitement about the integrated entertainment experience Sky is offering, bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in a single subscription. NOW Entertainment customers will also receive HBO Max at no additional cost, integrated into the NOW app.
If you are not a Sky subscriber, you can directly sign up for HBO Max on their website, with Standard with Ads plans starting at £5.99.
