Ms. Ginnett’s message from Los Perros camp detailed the adverse weather conditions and the urgent need for assistance on the John Gardner route within Torres del Paine. She mentioned the strong wind reaching speeds of 120mph, with several missing individuals requiring rescue efforts.

Despite deploying a significant number of volunteers, additional assistance was urgently required due to the challenging conditions and limited access to rescue services.
