Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost starting next month. This update will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers beginning April 1. To access Sky Atlantic content, customers can tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform or watch on-demand and via Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the value of seamless entertainment for customers, highlighting the addition of Sky Atlantic as a testament to their commitment. With Sky Atlantic offering captivating drama and compelling stories from the UK and US, over a million Virgin TV customers will now enjoy this content without any additional action required.
Meanwhile, Sky has unveiled a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels, Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as marking a “new era” for Sky and NOW, consolidating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription.
The latest Virgin Media update coincides with Sky’s significant announcement, further enhancing the entertainment options available to viewers.
