In response to the video on Truth Social, Trump condemned the group’s message as seditious behavior and called for their arrest and trial. He reiterated his stance by reposting user comments advocating for severe punishments, including death, for those he labeled as traitors.

Trump’s use of Truth Social to target his perceived adversaries is not new. He has previously used the platform to prompt the Justice Department to take action against individuals like former FBI director James Comey and acquaintances of Jeffrey Epstein, such as Bill Clinton.

While Trump’s allegations of sedition may not meet the legal threshold in the United States, and even if they did, sedition does not carry a death penalty as a punishment in the country.
