Tesco Mobile has decided to prolong its complimentary roaming service, offering a significant benefit to customers traveling overseas. The mobile network now enables free roaming, which includes UK texts, calls, and data, across 48 EU destinations. Originally set to conclude in 2026, Tesco Mobile has now extended this roaming service beyond the initial timeline.

Previously, mobile providers were prohibited from imposing additional charges for utilizing UK allowances, such as calls, texts, and data, while vacationing within the EU. However, this regulation no longer applies post-Brexit.

Laura Joseph, the Chief Customer Officer at Tesco Mobile, emphasized the importance of connectivity for families, whether for sharing holiday moments, keeping in touch with loved ones, or navigating unfamiliar cities. The extension of the roaming offer allows customers to utilize their UK data, minutes, and texts across 48 EU destinations and more, at no extra cost. This move aims to provide customers with convenience and peace of mind while traveling, with no setup, hidden fees, or complications to worry about.
