In a communication directed at Galaxy users, Samsung announced “important changes” and warned that accounts not engaging with specific services may be deleted.
“We appreciate your use of Samsung account,” the message, disclosed by Mirror Online, stated.
“Samsung is introducing a policy regarding inactive Samsung accounts to safeguard user data for those who have not utilized their account for an extended period. Under this policy, Samsung accounts inactive for twenty-four (24) months will be deemed inactive and subject to removal.”
“If an account is deleted, access will be restricted, and all associated data will be erased. Deleted accounts and data cannot be recovered.”
