Disney+ has implemented a price increase across all its subscription plans, impacting both new and existing subscribers. The cost hike, effective as of September 30, sees monthly fees rising by £1 for Standard and Standard with Ads plans, now priced at £9.99 and £5.99, respectively. The Premium Plan has increased by £2, setting subscribers back £14.99 per month.
Annual subscriptions have also been affected, with the Standard plan rising by £10 to £99.90 per year and the Premium plan jumping by £20 to £149.90 annually. Existing subscribers are advised to monitor their accounts for notifications of these changes, as per Disney’s terms and conditions, which require a 30-day notice for any price adjustments.
Disney+ has recently expanded its content library with various new additions. Shows like Tempest, a Korean spy thriller, and Swiped have debuted on the platform, with upcoming releases such as Sneaker Wars Adidas vs Puma and Murdaugh Death in the Family scheduled for October. All’s Fair is set to premiere in November, followed by Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on December 10.
