Boots has broadened its on-demand delivery service to nearly 500 stores throughout the United Kingdom. This rapid delivery option, facilitated by Deliveroo and Uber Eats, promises to bring your desired items to your doorstep within just 30 minutes, up from its previous availability at 250 stores.
With an extensive selection of over 10,000 health and beauty products ready for quick delivery, customers can now conveniently order essentials like cold and flu remedies, baby formula, and last-minute gifts such as perfumes and beauty products. To check if your local Boots store offers this service, simply access the Uber Eats and Deliveroo apps. The order process involves couriers picking, preparing, and delivering items in sealed packaging.
The on-demand delivery service is currently operational until midnight in ten London stores, with plans for further expansion across the UK. Boots initially teamed up with Deliveroo in 2021 and later extended the service to Uber Eats in 2023. Additionally, selected Boots stores also provide on-demand delivery through Just Eat.
Paula Bobbett, Chief Data and Digital Officer at Boots, expressed enthusiasm for meeting customer demands by offering convenience in ordering health and beauty products swiftly. She highlighted the importance of accommodating customers’ busy lifestyles, aiming to enhance accessibility to health and beauty essentials across the UK.
Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, emphasized the growing trend of customers relying on Deliveroo for health, beauty, and wellness essentials. The expanded partnership with Boots aims to provide more customers nationwide with quick access to quality products.
Uber UK General Manager, Grocery and Retail, Katie Hunter, echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the partnership with Boots to facilitate national on-demand delivery. The collaboration aims to meet the rising demand for prompt delivery of high-quality health and beauty products, reflecting the increasing convenience of one-tap ordering in daily life.
