Eagle-eyed EastEnders viewers were left giggling after spotting a comical Bianca Jackson blunder.

Police have issued a search warrant for missing Bianca, who no one knows is currently being held hostage by killer Reiss Colwell in a storage unit. He is desperate to keep his secret hidden, and that spells bad news for the long-serving character.

With his pregnant fiancĂ©e Sonia Fowler back in Walford after being released, having spent months in prison for the crime, it’s poor Bianca who is now in the frame. Sonia isn’t convinced her sister is the killer and things are about to turn dramatic.

Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer, has been given a chilling ultimatum as his plans start to unravel but it wasn’t what he said to her that left soap fans shocked. After locking her away for weeks and weeks by the murderer, the mother-of-three has kept herself in good condition.

Twisted Reiss had no regrets and then urged her to overdose. He said: “I wish it didn’t have to come to this. But I’ve got no option… it’s best for Sonia, I’m so sorry. There’s no other way, you’re too much of a loose thread.”

But as she is seen reaching for the bottle of tablets, Bianca shows off her perfectly polished nails. Some even noticed a fresh white tip – she was looking well-kept for someone who hasn’t been out since November. Fans were quick to pull the BBC up on the howler.

One wrote on X: “Did you guys miss the episode where Reiss went for his BIAB course??” while another said: “Debbie’s got a nail kit in there I swear.” Thankfully, Bianca didn’t touch the tablets and instead she hurled the bottle against the wall.

It’s not the only big story line grabbing the attention. Cindy Beale whodunnit rumbles on too as Cindy is offered a lifeline, and other characters share their suspicions. One villain could also be set for a downfall as more than one character might be on to them.

One of the big storylines of next week is a hospital dash for Phil Mitchell ahead of an upsetting plot for the Walford legend. It was recently revealed that the soap was tackling a new mental health storyline that would see Phil experience depression and psychosis, with him set to attempt to take his own life.

The soap is working closely with a number of charities on the storyline with scenes already filmed. Ahead of the plot, Phil sparks concern next week when he continues to isolate himself.

Nigel Bates asks his friend to accompany him on a double date, but things don’t go to plan and he soon walks out. As Phil heads over to The Arches, something happens and Phil is left in serious danger.

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
