Apple Music, now accessible on both iOS and Android devices, experienced its best year in 2025, breaking records for listenership and new subscriptions. The service introduced various updates, such as Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, providing users with personalized DJ-like features.

In addition to the music platform’s success, Apple TV saw a substantial increase in engagement, with users spending 36% more time watching popular shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. Apple TV expanded its content library with additions like the F1 film featuring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.

The App Store also witnessed strong growth, boasting over 850 million weekly users globally. During the holiday season, there was a record influx of visitors to the marketplace, leading to a surge in customer spending on digital goods and services.

Apple Podcasts also saw a remarkable year, achieving record listenership, plays, and subscriber numbers.

Apple made significant updates to its services, including expanding Apple Fitness+ to more regions and adding over 50 new games to Apple Arcade. The Share Item Location feature in Find My was extended to 27 additional airlines, reducing lost luggage instances significantly.

Moreover, Apple Maps enhanced its Detailed City Experience in new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, showcasing detailed 3D landmarks, including a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, highlighted the success of Apple services in 2025, emphasizing the company’s commitment to enhancing user experiences globally. Cue praised the enthusiasm shown by customers across various Apple platforms, from app downloads to streaming services and more.
