A former model who turned into a killer shockingly admitted to dismembering her husband, cooking his body parts, and blending them with turkey. The trial of 23-year-old Omaima Nelson revealed disturbing details of extreme sexual activities, decapitation, castration, and alleged cannibalism.

Originally from Egypt, Omaima fatally stabbed her husband, Bill Nelson, within a month of their marriage. She then proceeded to mutilate his body, including frying his hands, boiling his head, and mixing his remains with Thanksgiving turkey leftovers. Jurors were deeply disturbed by the evidence presented during the trial, including graphic images of the victim.

Omaima, who had a history of abuse starting from ritual genital mutilation as a child, married Bill Nelson, a man 33 years older than her, in 1991. Their relationship quickly deteriorated due to allegations of sexual abuse and violence. Omaima claimed self-defense, stating that she killed her husband during a violent altercation where she feared for her life.

Following her arrest, Omaima confessed to the gruesome acts of dismemberment and cooking body parts to conceal the crime. She described being in a trance-like state during the horrific ordeal. Authorities discovered multiple containers filled with Bill’s remains in the house, along with disturbing items like a severed head and a cooler containing hands.

Despite initially denying allegations of cannibalism, Omaima later retracted her statement in court. She was convicted of second-degree murder in 1993 and sentenced to 27 years to life in prison. Her attempts to appeal the sentence were unsuccessful, and she remains incarcerated, with parole denied due to being deemed a serious threat to public safety.
