“Rookie F1 Sensation Bearman Brushes Off Ferrari Rumors”

Published on

F1 sensation Oliver Bearman has downplayed rumors linking him to Ferrari amid ongoing struggles for Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion has faced challenges this season, including a disappointing performance at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Hamilton hit a low point in Las Vegas, qualifying last on the grid, a first for Ferrari since 2009. This has sparked speculation about Hamilton’s future, especially as newcomer Haas driver Oliver Bearman continues to impress in his rookie season.

Despite the speculation surrounding both drivers, Bearman has expressed admiration for Hamilton and urged for calm among those pushing for his move to Ferrari.

Bearman achieved his highest F1 finish by securing fourth place at the Mexico City Grand Prix and followed up with a sixth-place finish in Brazil, placing him 11th in the drivers’ standings.

When asked about his potential future with Ferrari, Bearman remained grounded in his response, emphasizing the need to focus on delivering consistent results for his team.

Pressure for Bearman to join Ferrari has increased, with former champion Jacques Villeneuve endorsing Bearman’s abilities. Paddock legend Kravitz also hinted at Bearman eventually replacing Hamilton at Ferrari, following a similar path to Charles Leclerc’s progression within the team.

Former Haas team boss Guenther Steiner echoed the sentiment, suggesting that Bearman could replace Hamilton if the latter’s performance does not improve. Steiner praised Bearman’s progress and predicted a bright future for the talented youngster in a top-tier team even if Ferrari does not offer him a seat.

Hamilton’s struggles at Ferrari have been evident, with no podium finishes in 21 races so far, while his teammate Leclerc has secured seven top-three finishes, intensifying the spotlight on the British driver.

Next up for Hamilton and Bearman is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, set to commence at 4 am on Sunday for UK viewers.
