An incident in Sandy Springs, Georgia, has shocked the community as a 42-year-old mother, Shannen Grimes, faces serious charges after allegedly murdering her 11-year-old daughter, Genesis. The tragic event unfolded on November 14 at the Laurel Grove Condominiums, where emergency services were called by Grimes’ sister, who raised concerns about the mother’s well-being.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found Grimes with self-inflicted injuries, indicating a suicide attempt.
