A tragic three-vehicle collision in Ireland resulted in the loss of a bus and truck driver, who have now been identified. Paul Conway, in his 50s, was operating the Bus Eireann vehicle involved in the incident, while Wesley O’Reilly, aged 48, was driving a lorry when the collision occurred on the R132 in Gormanston, Co Meath. The crash also involved a car, leaving twelve individuals injured, with the car driver in critical condition at Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital.

According to witnesses, the scene was swarmed by at least six ambulances, medical vehicles, and fire engines. The road remained closed for several hours as authorities, including the Gardai, conducted an investigation into the tragic event.

Local reports revealed that Paul Conway, the Bus Eireann driver, was a well-known father of seven children and a keen hunter from Tallanstown in Co Meath. On the other hand, Wesley O’Reilly, a married father of three, was originally from Finglas, Dublin, but had relocated to Loughshinny near Skerries.

The Garda issued a statement confirming their presence at the collision site in Gormanston, Co. Meath, urging any witnesses, especially those with camera footage between 5:45 am and 6:45 am on the day of the incident, to come forward. In response, Bus Eireann acknowledged the involvement of one of their buses in the crash and assured ongoing cooperation with authorities.
