The discussion arose following the disclosure of over 23,000 documents to Congress by Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, which included numerous emails mentioning Trump. In these emails, Epstein insinuated that Trump was aware of certain activities involving young women, although he emphasized that Trump was not involved in any misconduct.

Trump, in response to queries about Epstein’s remarks, expressed ignorance about the allegations and redirected attention to Epstein’s association with former President Bill Clinton. He recently took to his Truth Social platform to announce his intent to initiate investigations into Epstein’s high-profile connections, including Clinton, through Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel.

Regarding the push for the release of additional Epstein files by the House of Representatives, Trump indicated a lack of interest in the matter, dismissing it as a political ploy. He mentioned individuals like Reid Hoffman, founder of LinkedIn, who had ties to Epstein but clarified that he had not visited Epstein’s island, labeling the situation as a Democratic scheme.

Shortly after Trump’s comments, Reid Hoffman urged Trump to disclose all Epstein files to ensure justice for the victims. Trump’s stance on a potential pardon for Maxwell remains unclear, as he stated that he has not given the matter much thought and did not definitively rule it in or out.
