A man has been killed and another injured in a shooting incident at the MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The shooting is believed to be targeted, and police are actively searching for the suspect who fled the scene after the attack.

According to George Nader, the chief of police at Prince George’s County, the victim was shot while ordering food in the casino’s food court. The suspect entered the food court and immediately opened fire on the victim before fleeing in a car. As a precaution, local schools were briefly locked down, but authorities confirm there is no active threat to the community.

The deceased victim, a male in his 20s, was the target of the attack, indicating that the shooting was not random. The police have cordoned off the affected area within the casino, while the rest of the hotel and casino remain open to the public.
