“UK Tech Firm Nothing Unveils Phone (3) with Unique Rear Display”

Published on

Samsung and Google, giants in the smartphone industry, are facing competition from a new player in the market. Nothing, a UK-based tech company, has introduced its latest phone, the Phone (3), featuring a unique Glyph Matrix micro-LED display on the rear case. This display allows users to view alerts, timers, and play games without utilizing the main 6.67-inch AMOLED front panel.

The Glyph Matrix is designed to minimize screen time and streamline the delivery of essential information to users. Unlike Nothing’s previous devices with the Glyph Interface, the Phone (3) opts for a small screen on the rear panel for enhanced functionality.

The Phone (3) stands out with its transparent case design, offering a glimpse inside the device. It boasts an upgraded triple-lens rear camera system that excels in low-light photography and supports 4K video recording. Powered by a Snapdragon® 8s Gen 4 processor, the phone houses a sizable 5150mAh battery that supports fast charging and wireless recharging.

Additionally, the Phone (3) incorporates smart AI features to expedite tasks like web searches, photo editing, and inbox organization. Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, expressed the company’s intent to break away from conventional tech designs and provide a personalized experience with the Phone (3).

The Phone (3) will be available in black and white color options in two configurations: 12 GB + 256 GB priced at £799 and 16 GB + 512 GB priced at £899. Global pre-orders for the Phone (3) will commence on July 4, 2025.
