Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers set to take place in Quebec City. Tennis Canada announced that Auger-Aliassime will be joined by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers last February, Canada secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Brazil, while France earned their spot by defeating Slovakia with a 3-1 scoreline.
